Job 30:29 I am a brother to dragons, and a companion to owls. Well, that one is pretty clear (to me anyways).

Psalm 44:19 Though thou hast sore broken us in the place of dragons, and covered us with the shadow of death. In the Geneva Bible notes it says, “Or, whales: meaning, the bottomless sea of tentations: here we see the power of faith, which can be overcome by no perils.” I fail to see how the Bible is talking about whales. When the Bible talks about fish, it will say that it is talking about fish.

Psalm 91:13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and the adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. In the defenders study bible notes it says, “Both the lion and the dragon are symbolic of Satan. Here is proof that dragons were animals as real as adders and lions. It appears that dragons were animals similar to dinosaurs.”

Psalm 148:7 Praise the Lord from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps. In the Geneva Bible notes it says, “Meaning, the great and and monstrou, as whales and such like.” There are marine dinosaurs and again the bible will say when it is talking about fish. In the defenders study bible notes it says, “These ‘dragons‘ are not mythical animals but are probably dinosaurs.”

Isaiah 13:22 And the wild beasts of the islands shall cry in their desolate houses, and dragons in their pleasant palaces: and her time is near to come, and her days shall not be prolonged.  In the defenders study bible notes it says, “The dragons (hebrew tannin) are the “sea monsters,” probably marine dinosaurs.
