Isaiah 34:13 “And thorns shall come up in her palaces, nettles and brambles in the fortresses thereof: and it shall be an habitation for dragons and a court for owls.” Probably land dinosaurs.

Isaiah 43:20 “The beast of the field shall honor Me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen.” Land dinosaurs again.

Jeremiah 9:11 “And I will make Jerusalem heaps, and a den of dragons; and I will make the cities of Judah desolate, without an inhabitant.” In the defenders study bible notes it says, “Hebrew tannin, meaning ‘monsters,’ possibly dinosaurs, which survived in isolated locations for many centuries after the flood.”

Jeremiah 10:22 “Behold, the noise of the bruit is come, and a great commotion out of the north country, to make the cities of Judah desolate, and a den of dragons.” Land dinos again.

Jeremiah 14:6 “And the wild asses did stand in the high places, they snuffed up the wind like dragons; their eyes did fail, because there was no grass.”

Jeremiah 49:33 “And Hazor shall be a dwelling place for dragons, and a desolation for ever: there shall no, man abide there, nor any son of man dwell in it. In the defenders study bible notes it says, “The Hebrew tannin, probably refers to dinosaurs; small populations still existed in remote areas at this time.”

Job 30:29 I am a brother to dragons, and a companion to owls. Well, that one is pretty clear (to me anyways).

Psalm 44:19 Though thou hast sore broken us in the place of dragons, and covered us with the shadow of death. In the Geneva Bible notes it says, “Or, whales: meaning, the bottomless sea of tentations: here we see the power of faith, which can be overcome by no perils.” I fail to see how the Bible is talking about whales. When the Bible talks about fish, it will say that it is talking about fish.

Psalm 91:13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and the adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. In the defenders study bible notes it says, “Both the lion and the dragon are symbolic of Satan. Here is proof that dragons were animals as real as adders and lions. It appears that dragons were animals similar to dinosaurs.”

Psalm 148:7 Praise the Lord from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps. In the Geneva Bible notes it says, “Meaning, the great and and monstrou, as whales and such like.” There are marine dinosaurs and again the bible will say when it is talking about fish. In the defenders study bible notes it says, “These dragons are not mythical animals but are probably dinosaurs.”

Isaiah 13:22 And the wild beasts of the islands shall cry in their desolate houses, and dragons in their pleasant palaces: and her time is near to come, and her days shall not be prolonged.  In the defenders study bible notes it says, “The dragons (hebrew tannin) are the “sea monsters,” probably marine dinosaurs.

Recently two friends and I were playing Bible Trivia and we looked up a passage in the Bible to see if one of the answers was correct, and the Bible opened to a verse about unicorns. So we started a study and we started studying dragons, sea monsters, leviathan, serpents, and behemoth. After looking up all these passages, we decided that the word dragon in the Bible and in story’s around the world, means a dinosaur, since the word dinosaur wasn’t made up until 1841. Here are all the passages.
